For Homelessness Week, which runs this year from the 7th to the 13th of August, GCH are teaming up with other local homelessness services from Uniting, The Salvos and Winteringham to put events on across our local areas.
Supported by our local Woolworths supermarkets, we will be running sausage sizzles in Horsham on Monnday the 7th and Stawell on Wednesday the 9th, while in Ararat there will be a busk out event happening in the Woolworths carpark on Friday the 11th, featuring local legend Parso and some of his musical friends having a jam.
Workers from the various providers will be on hand at different events to answer questions around homelessness in our region as well as the ways to access supports.
We look forward to seeing the communities come out and support these great events.
