How much time does it take to make a difference?
If you become a volunteer with Grampians Community Health, you can look forward to helping our community by working with people in need of support.
Volunteers fulfil diverse roles.
Visiting people from diverse background who can’t get out easily, assist people by driving to non urgent medical appointments, hospitals for operations and other medical services. They also help people to attend social inclusion activities and other transport requirements across regional Victoria and to metropolitan Melbourne. They help us to provide a service for an ever increasing group of people who may be elderly, frail aged, people with a disability or those no longer able to drive themselves.
Other volunteers call in on families with a member with a mental health issue and help them to engage in our communities.
We welcome people of all ages, and our times are flexible to suit your commitments.
