Grampians Community Health provide Meals on Wheels within the Horsham Rural City boundaries and meals are delivered by volunteers Monday to Friday. Meals on Wheels provide nutritional meals to those who may find shopping for food and preparing meals is becoming difficult. Meals can be provided on a temporary basis for those experiencing sudden events that affect their ability or ongoing if required.
People receiving Meals on Wheels have reported their sense of isolation has been reduced with the regular face to face contact with the volunteers who deliver the meals.
