Emergency Recovery Support Program
Support for people impacted by the January 2026 bushfires.
Have you been impacted by the January 2026 bushfires?
The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing have activated the Emergency Recovery Support Program for people who have experienced trauma or loss from the January 2026 fires.

GCH is supporting the Natimuk, Quantong, Streatham and Skipton communities.

When you are impacted, it can be hard to know what to do next.
A range of support is available, based on your or your family’s needs.
Our support officers can help with:
  • Finding local services
  • Insurance and legal questions
  • Money problems
  • Your health and wellbeing
  • Registering for government services.
