Another Movember has come and gone and for Team GCH it’s been a big month. Final move for Movember total for the team was 999.5kms which as you can see would cover almost the entire area that our services cover, a great effort by our movers.
The team also set a new GCH record for funds raised, eclipsing last years total by over $700. The final tally was $6,265 which will help Movember in their work in the mens mental health, prostate cancer and testicular cancer spaces.
These are not only some of the biggest killers of men nation wide, but also across the areas that we live and work.
At GCH, we see the impact around mens mental health and the ripple effect that can have on the wider community with some of the services we provide such as counselling, alcohol and other drug supports, family violence supports, the MAC & MBC programs and homelessness services. We want to see better outcomes for everyone in our communities which is why we are proud to take part in Movember and do our bit for mens health
